Is my manuscript used to train AI?
No. We never use your writing to train AI models, and we do not let anyone else do so; Mythener uses only models whose terms do not allow training on your content. You own everything you put into Mythener: your manuscripts, worlds, plans and notes.
Does Mythener write my book for me?
No. You write the words. Mythener organises your world, plans and revisions, and the Delphi Engine gives recommendations about structure and continuity. You decide what changes in the manuscript and what becomes canon.
Why do you ask for a card, and what happens after 30 days?
You add a card when you choose a plan, and nothing is charged for the first 30 days. Cancel before then and you pay nothing. If you stay, your plan starts when they end, from $25 a month, $270 a year or $480 for 2 years, for one author. Your editor joins free. Your plan’s monthly Delphi scan begins with that first payment, and until then a scan costs $5; every other part of the workspace is open from the day you join.
What happens to my work if I cancel?
It stays yours. You can cancel anytime from your billing page, and you can export your projects and series at any time, including after you cancel. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Do I have to start again, or can I bring in the books I have already written?
Bring them in. Drop an existing manuscript in Word (.docx) or EPUB format into the Workspace. Mythener maps out its chapters and picks out the lore it contains, so you link your existing world together instead of retyping it.
I already use Scrivener, Word or a spreadsheet. Why switch?
Because separate tools do not know about each other. In Mythener one world is shared by the plan, the draft and the review, so a change to a character reaches every book, and your manuscript is checked against your own lore. It does the work of 6 tools (Campfire, Scrivener, Plottr, ProWritingAid, BookFunnel, Vellum Press), which together cost about $664 in the first year; Author is $270.
How does Mythener check a manuscript for plot holes and continuity errors?
The Delphi Engine, inside the Edit module, runs 12 reviews and 145 checks across your manuscript. It compares dialogue against the voice profiles you set for each character, catches broken lore timelines and surfaces plot holes, using your world entries and chapter plans as the baseline. Every finding is pinned to the exact passage and carried into Review, so it sits beside the manuscript while you revise. It does not replace your editor: it gives each draft a structural and continuity read first, so an editor’s hours go further.
Does Mythener work for a press or a publisher with several authors?
Yes. Press has 8 author seats, House has 25 author seats, and Enterprise is priced to your volume. Editors, beta readers and admins join free. Every title on your list gets the same Delphi checks, protected ARC rounds, and ebook and print formatting.
